Spanish Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Fourth Edition (PPVT-4) and Spanish Expressive Vocabulary Test, Second Edition (EVT-2)

Be an examiner for Pearson Assessments. Complete the online Field Testing Application Form.

Testing for this study is scheduled to begin in 2008.

Introduction

The Diagnostic & Special Needs Assessment group of Pearson is developing a Spanish version of the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Fourth Edition (PPVT–4) and the Expressive Vocabulary Test, Second Edition (EVT–2) and is seeking Spanish-speaking practitioners to collect data for the development of these forms.

Examiner Qualifications

All examiners must be fluent in Spanish. In addition, every examiner must be a licensed Speech–Language Pathologist, School Psychologist, or Educational Diagnostician, or a graduate student in one of the fields listed above who has completed a course in individual assessment.

Administration

Estimated testing time is 30 to 45 minutes per case, depending on the age of the examinee. Each examinee will take one form of Spanish PPVT–4 followed by one form of Spanish EVT–2.

Tryout Data Collection Sample

We will be testing individuals ages 2½ through 25 years old whose dominant language is Spanish. Most individuals should be normally developing (not receiving special education services).
