What happens when I submit my Examiner Application?
|
When you submit an application, your qualifications will be matched against our current projects. If there is a match, we will send you further information about the project and will ask you for further information. We like to use e-mail as a primary means of communication, so be sure to include your e-mail address. If your qualifications do not match a current project, we will keep the information on file for future projects.

|
| If I submit the Examiner Application, am I obliged to participate? |
No. Your completed Examiner Application merely serves as an indication to us that you may be interested in participating in some of our projects. Once mutual interest is established, we will further clarify the exact requirements of a given project. From there, you can decide if you want to continue. We hope you will!

|
| How are Examiners selected? |
Based on qualifications established by our testing team, we need to determine if you are qualified to administer the tests. Then, depending on the project plan, we can establish whether or not sites are needed from your area.

|
| Does it cost me anything to participate? |
No! Pearson pays for all costs, including the
mailing expenses to and from Pearson. We provide the testing kit
and all the consumable materials, like record forms and worksheets, for each
project.

|
| Will I be compensated for my participation? |
Yes you will. We realize that you participate as an Examiner because you care about those you serve. And, professionally you are concerned about the quality of your testing resources. As a company, we appreciate working with people like you, but beyond this, we want to say thank you by providing you with compensation as well.
For all properly administered tests that we have assigned you, Pearson will
offer you either a cash payment or Assessment catalog
credit. Payment varies by project, and we will inform you of these details
in our communications with you.

|
| Are the examinees compensated for their participation? |
Whether or not there are incentives for examinees depends upon the project. When we contact you, we will let you know if this applies to the project.
