ASA (Auditory Skills Assessment)

Be an examiner for Pearson Assessments. Complete the online Field Testing Application Form.

Testing for this study is tentatively scheduled to begin in the summer of 2008.

Introduction

The Clinical Assessment group of Pearson is developing a new assessment called the Auditory Skills Assessment. Although the ASA is a new product, it draws from concepts presented in the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Test of Auditory Discrimination and the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Auditory Skills Battery, two of the most respected tests of auditory abilities. The ASA, like its predecessors, is designed to provide accurate results of a student’s competency in auditory processing and provide diagnostic information that can be used to tailor instruction to the students needs.

Examiner Qualifications

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, School or Clinical Psychologist or Educational Diagnostician.

Standardization Data Collection Sample

We will be testing individuals aged 3 years 6 months through 6 years 11 months.
