Introduction
The Clinical Assessment group of Pearson is developing a new assessment called the Auditory Skills Assessment. Although the ASA is a new product, it draws from concepts presented in the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Test of Auditory Discrimination and the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Auditory Skills Battery, two of the most respected tests of auditory abilities. The ASA, like its predecessors, is designed to provide accurate results of a student’s competency in auditory processing and provide diagnostic information that can be used to tailor instruction to the students needs.
